One day at work someone came into my department office and handed us expired 35mm film that they found in a draw. I decided to put them to good use otherwise they would of been thrown away in some way. So I dug out my dad’s old 35mm Chinon CM-3, that he gave to me when I was at college. What’s amazing is that he brought the SLR with his grant money, back when he was a young whippersnapper at college, 30 odd years ago.

Due to not being able to review the photo you’ve taken straight away, you judge the shot before you’ve even taken it. I’m hoping this will improve my photography skills in general, including my DSLR photographs.

It’s a great feeling, getting excited when picking up the developed film, seeing if the photos have came out well. So here are the best shots from my first few films.
